Hi, I'm Lisa!

I am a Melbourne-based qualified teacher and literacy specialist. I provide evidence-based intervention in reading, spelling and writing for primary school students with learning difficulties, including Specific Learning Disorders (i.e., dyslexia and dysgraphia) and ADHD. Sessions are one-to-one and delivered from my dedicated home office in Caulfield South.
All lessons are multisensory and carefully tailored to each learner, helping to build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and support long-term academic success. My instruction incorporates structured, synthetic phonics, is grounded in the Orton-Gillingham approach and aligned with Victorian Curriculum expectations.
I hold qualifications in Primary Teaching, Special Education, Orton-Gillingham and Multisensory Structured Language (MSL). With more than thirty years’ experience across specialist and mainstream educational settings, I bring expertise and a genuine, abiding passion for helping children discover the joy of language and the power of reading and writing.
Outside my professional work, I enjoy travel and exploring the natural world, as well as cooking and reading in my spare time. I aspire to be a competent gardener. I am married and have three adult children.
